Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-01-24T09:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-01-24T09:24:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Note Keyword:
DPL: CME exhibits dimpled front
Faint: Faint event; may affect type assignment
FF: Event fails/disappears before exiting COR2
OFL: Outflowing material at the back of the CME
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
Source Signature Keyword:
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
Morphology Keyword:
L: Loop
Note: Faint oblique front seen E in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 and GOES CCOR-1, and possibly very faint dimpled and messy front to the E in STEREO A COR2. This front is better seen in SOHO LASCO and CCOR-1 but either very faint/messy or not seen in STEREO A COR2. Its source is possibly the clear movement of field line(s) on/behind the E limb seen in AIA 171/193 starting after 2026-01-24T08:30Z.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type

CME Analysis M2M_CATALOG LE true SWPC_CAT -90.0 0.0 554.0 C 33.0 2026-01-24T15:39Z A very speculative, approximate measurement due to the faintness of the front in STEREO A COR2 coronagraph. This analysis is based on the fit of the front in three coronagraphs (SOHO LASCO C2/C3, STEREO A COR2 and GOES CCOR-1). The source (moving field lines indicating a far-sided filament eruption) is either on or (more likely) behind the E limb. 1: Result 1 (2.0 AU)
BepiColombo = 2026-01-25T18:00Z
2: Result 2 (5.5 AU)
BepiColombo = 2026-01-25T18:00Z
